Maverick director Ram Gopal Varma has unveiled the trailer of his upcoming web-series on the violent history of Rayalaseema faction, Kadapa. The 4 minute-long trailer features all the typical RGV tropes – his loud voice-over, chilling background score and a theme song, high-speed shots that glorify violence and brutal killings and some bold lovemaking visuals and curses uttered by the female characters.
Kadapa’s trailer through RGV’s voice-over, showcases how a peace loving region like Rayalaseema turned into an ever burning furnace with the entry of faction feud. The trailer also features a few infamous quotes on revenge and violence by some of the dreaded faction leaders hailing from the Reddy community and their enemies.
RGV claims that all the incidents shown in the web-series are completely true. Kadapa is made for the international Telugu audience. The first episode of Kadapa’s season one will be out soon.
