Bollywood star heroine Shraddha Kapoor’s Stree, directed by Amar Kaushik, was a blockbuster at the ticket windows. The movie, released in 2018, had Rajkummar Rao as the male lead. Pankaj Tripathi and Abhishek Banerjee played important roles. In the climax of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya, a hint about the probable sequel of Stree was given.
Today Jio Studios has announced a slate of 100 titles at a grand event conducted in Mumbai. During this, the announcement came regarding Stree 2. Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao will again essay the lead roles. Amar Kaushik will be directing the sequel too.
Aparshakti Khurana, Pankaj Tripathi, and Abhishek Banerjee will again be seen in the sequel, which will go on floors this summer. Dinesh Vijan and Jio Studios will produce Stree 2, and the movie releases on August 31, 2024. Let’s see if the sequel can impress the audience as the first part did.
