A biopic, titled Darsaka Ratna, on veteran actor, filmmaker and politician Dasari Narayana Rao is in the making in Tollywood. Senior director Dhavala Sathyam will be helming this project and T Ramesh Naidu will be producing it under Image Films banner.
The makers also announced that Dasari Narayana Rao Film and TV National Awards will be presented annually in Dasari’s honor. T Ramesh Naidu has also set up a trust named Dasari Narayana Rao Memorial Cultural Trust after his guru.
On the other hand, the script work for Darsaka Ratna biopic has been completed and the project will be going on floors very soon. A popular hero will be playing Dasari’s role in the movie.
