Balakrishna’s Bhagavanth Kesari showed the much-required growth on Sunday, as many centers reported housefuls. Particularly, the film picked up very well in the Andhra Pradesh region and is expected to trend well over the next two days. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film has Sreeleela and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles.
The emotional action drama has now breached past the one million dollar mark in the USA. Balayya now has hat-trick one million dollar films at the USA box office.The even more remarkable thing is that Balakrishna became the first senior Telugu hero to achieve this superb feat. He achieved this feat with the films Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy, and Bhagavanth Kesari.
Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal, who also won the National Award, essayed the antagonist in Bhagavanth Kesari. This is his first Telugu film. The action drama is bankrolled by Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi under the banner of Shine Screens. SS Thaman composed the tunes.
