Tollywood star Nandamuri Balakrishna’s iconic sci-fi drama, Aditya 369, was released in 1991 and attained cult status along with critical acclaim and commercial success. The Singeetham Srinivasarao directorial is hailed as India’s first-ever time travel film.
Aditya 369 was initially scheduled for a re-release on April 11. However, the film’s makers at Sridevi Movies made a surprise announcement this morning. Much to the joy of all Balayya fans, Aditya 369’s release plans have been preponed by a week, and the movie will be hitting theaters in the twin Telugu states on April 4.
Aditya 369 also features the legendary Bollywood character artiste Amrish Puri, Mohini, Silk Smita, Tinnu Anand, and others in prominent roles. The legendary Ilaiyaraaja scored the film’s iconic soundtrack.
