Balakrishna and Boyapati Sreenu’s Akhanda 2 is set for a grand release this Friday. Paid premieres are scheduled tomorrow everywhere, and everyone is looking forward to the action drama. Today, the makers conducted a press meet in Chennai to promote the Tamil version.
At the event, Balakrishna said, “Thank you to everyone. Since I was born here, Chennai feels like my own home. Madras is my birthplace, Telangana is my workplace, and Andhra is my spiritual land. We shot this film magnificently across various countries within just 130 days. Without God’s grace, this wouldn’t have been possible.”
He added, “Our Sanatana Hindu Dharma teaches us to live for dharma, fight for truth, and never bow down before injustice. You will witness the glory and strength of Sanatana Dharma in this film. Future generations will learn about Sanatana Dharma through this movie. This film is like an encyclopedia. My father is my guru and my God. He made films across various genres, mythological, social, fantasy, and many more. I am walking the path he showed me.”
Balakrishna stated that Akhanda was the first Indian film to release during COVID and that it achieved tremendous success, and that it gave courage to other filmmakers to release their movies. Balayya exuded confidence that his hit streak with Boyapati Sreenu will continue with Akhanda 2.
