Controversies are nothing new for Ram Gopal Varma. For the last few weeks, the director has been constantly making headlines with his latest political drama, Kamma Rajyamlo Kadapa Reddlu. The film has been refused a censor certificate by the CBFC.
And now, RGV has faced yet another setback. His latest production, Beautiful, after facing issues with the censor panel, is said to have been postponed to a later date. The film was supposed to be released tomorrow (Dec 6). The latest update is that even though Beautiful managed to get the censor clearance last evening, the distributors have decided to delay the release after consulting with RGV.
Beautiful is a tribute to RGV’s yesteryear musical blockbuster, Rangeela. The film has Naina Ganguly as the leading lady. Lakshmi’s NTR fame Agasthya Manju is the director.
