Director Sai Rajesh is being showered with congratulatory messages on the success of his recently released romantic drama, Baby. The youthful story and dialogues penned by Sai Rajesh have been lapped up well by young audiences. However, along with the appreciation, came in a lot of criticism against certain aspects of Baby.
In a latest interview post Baby’s release, Sai Rajesh opened up about the criticism he has faced for penning certain dialogues in the movie. He said that he regrets penning the obscene dialogue “Mundu theravalsindi kallu kaadu ****** (Not the eyes, you should open your **** first).” The director has apologized for penning this particular dialogue, which was half-muted by the censor board.
However, Sai Rajesh doesn’t agree with the criticism that Baby is running well only because of the bold and obscene content. He said that even family audiences are thronging to theaters to watch the movie after being hesitant initially for a couple of days.
