Released in 2018, Nani’s home production, Awe, went on to win critical acclaim and box-office success. This Prashanth Varma directorial featured Kajal Aggarwal, Nithya Menen, Eesha, Regina and several other prominent actors in lead roles.
Ever since Awe’s success, there have been reports of a sequel to the movie. Confirming the same, director Prashanth Varma said in a latest interview that he is planning to take Awe 2 to sets very soon. “I got several offers to make Awe 2 in Hindi and even offered Awe’s Hindi remake. But I want to make Awe 2 in Telugu first. This will be my next project,” Prashanth said.
The script for Awe 2 is ready, but it’s not clear whether Nani will be back as the producer for the sequel.
