20th Century Studios has now dropped a new trailer for Avatar: Fire and Ash, the highly anticipated third installment of James Cameron’s epic sci-fi franchise. The movie is slated to hit the big screens on December 19, 2025.
Cameron brings viewers back to the vibrant world of Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), now a Na’vi leader, and Neytiri (Zoe Saldaña), along with the Sully family, are still reeling from the loss of their eldest son, Neteyam. As tensions rise on Pandora, a new and formidable Na’vi tribe, the Ash People, emerges under the leadership of Varang, played by Oona Chaplin.
Jake family realizes that humans can now survive even without mask in their world. James Cameron once again promises a visual spectacle with Avatar: Fire and Ash. He also introduces new characters and the stakes are much bigger now. Avatar: The Way of Water earned approximately $2.3 billion globally and we need to see if Avatar: Fire and Ash could cross it.
The new installment features a star-studded cast including Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, Cliff Curtis, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Edie Falco, David Thewlis, Jemaine Clement, Giovanni Ribisi, Britain Dalton, Jamie Flatters, Trinity Jo-Li Bliss, Jack Champion, Brendan Cowell, Bailey Bass, Filip Geljo, Duane Evans Jr., and Kate Winslet.
