Ever since its release, apart from the box-office success, Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest film, Srimanthudu, has also been winning a lot of accolades from all quarters for its noble theme of village adoption. Already, Srimanthudu impressed several celebrities from film and political worlds, including some noted politicians like KTR, Venkaiah Naidu, Kishan Reddy etc.

Now, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu appreciated Srimanthudu as he tweeted last night, “Watched #Srimanthudu@urstrulyMahesh. Great movie on giving back to society. Glad that the message reflects ‘Smart Village Smart Ward’.” To this, Mahesh responded in his usual modest style and said, “Humbled and honoured sir… Glad you liked our film. Thank you very much.”

Recently, Mahesh said that Srimanthudu was inspired from Chandrababu Naidu’s ‘Smart Village’ campaign. It is well known that Mahesh adopted his native village Burripalem and also a village in Mahaboob Nagar.
