Ram Pothineni is gearing up for the release of his most important project, Andhra King Taluka. Lately, Ram faced consecutive flops, and hence, Andhra King Taluka’s success is very important for him. Directed by Mahesh Babu. P of Miss Shetty Mr. Polishetty fame, the movie highlights crazy fan culture for movie stars in Andhra Pradesh.
Today, the makers launched the theatrical trailer at an event in Kurnool, and it is highly impressive. As the film’s caption suggests, the story revolves around Sagar (Ram Pothineni), a man who dedicates his entire life to celebrating his favourite actor, Surya (Upendra).
Sagar’s character mirrors a majority of fans on social media who engage in fan wars and heated arguments to prove their favourite star is superior in every aspect. His life takes a turn when he falls in love with a girl, played by Bhagyasri Borse.
The leading lady constantly reminds Sagar that he, too, has a life of his own and must give importance to himself and the people around him. The trailer takes us on a rollercoaster ride as Sagar lands in big trouble, and his matinee idol himself steps in to rescue him.
The dialogues are superbly written and have a strong chance of striking a chord with cinephiles. The trailer also hints at a strong emotional core. Andhra King Taluka seems poised to convey a subtle message, that fans must also remember to live their own lives.
