Ever since Dorasaani’s teaser was unveiled around a month ago, the film’s hero and Vijay Deverakonda’s brother, Anand Deverakonda, has been facing intense criticism on social media. While some trolls are criticizing Anand’s unconventional looks, some others are judging his acting skills based on the teaser itself.
However, Anand laughed off the trolls in an interview and said that naysayers are not even waiting for the film to hit screens before judging him. Now, Anand’s co-star in Dorasaani, Shivathmika, has come to his defence.
In a latest interview with a popular English daily, Shivathmika lauded Anand and called him a ‘performer’. She went on to say that she didn’t know Anand was Vijay’s brother when she first met him. Dorasaani is slated for release on July 12.
