Maverick director SS Rajamouli is the man of the moment. All eyes are on the director and Team RRR, while they are busy promoting the film in Hollywood ahead of the Oscars ceremony. Meanwhile, amid all the hype and hoopla, Rajamouli has found some time to appreciate a small Bollywood indie film.
Rajamouli took to his Instagram Stories and posted a small video in which he praised the trailer for the soon-to-release Hindi film, Gulmohar, starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sharmila Tagore in lead roles. “Gulmohar trailer looks very promising. Manoj Bajpayee looks promising as usual and I am happy to see Sharmila Tagore Ji’s comeback after many years. Can’t wait to watch this. All the best to Hotstar, Geetika (Aggarwal) and the entire cast and crew,” Rajamouli said. He went on to caption the trailer – “Such a heart warming TRAILER! Looking forward to watching Gulmohar.”
Gulmohar is slated to release digitally on Disney+ Hotstar on March 3. The film is an emotional tale of a dysfunctional modern family. Rahul Chittella has directed the movie.
