Actor-choreographer-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence’s Tamil film, Rudhran, is releasing in Telugu as Rudrudu. The film’s theatrical trailer was launched around a week ago and it promised a solid commercial entertainer.
Rudrudu is all set for its theatrical release tomorrow (April 14). Lawrence and the film’s core team landed in Hyderabad today to promote the film. Interacting with the Telugu film media, Lawrence opened up about Rudrudu in detail. He said that Rudrudu will be loved by the mass, class and family audiences.
“Those who love their mothers will surely love Rudrudu. You all know how much I love my mother. Rudrudu is high on mother sentiment. The film delivers a touching message on mothers and fathers. Besides such strong emotions, the film also has romance, comedy and dances in equal proportions,” Lawrence added.
Talking about his character in Rudrudu, Lawrence said that he plays a middle-class techie who turns a rebel after he faces a conflict. Directed and produced by debutant Kathiresan, the film has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the female lead while Sarathkumar will be seen in a crucial role. Tagore Madhu is releasing the film’s Telugu version.
