The feud between star Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone and director Sandeep Reddy Vanga seems to be getting murkier with each passing day. Deepika’s alleged unprofessional exit from Vanga’s Spirit starring Prabhas has kicked off a PR war between the actress and the director.
In a counter, Sandeep took to X last night and launched a sharp attack on Deepika without naming her in a viral post. “When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100% faith. There is an unsaid NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) between us. But by doing this, You’ve ‘DISCLOSED’ the person that you are,” Sandeep wrote in his post. He went on to write, “Putting down a Younger actor and ousting my story?”
Vanga then questioned Deepika’s feminism. “Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn’t get it. You won’t get it. You will never get it,” he added. “Aisa karo….Agli baar poori kahani bolna…kyunki mujhe jarra bhi farak nahi padtha,” the director concluded, also adding the hashtag “#dirtyPRgames” at the end.
Needless to say, Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s viral post has become a hot topic on social media. Fans and industrywalas are eagerly awaiting Deepika’s reaction to Sandeep’s allegations. It’s worth mentioning that Sandeep recently replaced Deepika with Tripti Dimri, the talented actress who stole everyone’s hearts with her beauty and performance in Vanga’s blockbuster crime drama, Animal, as the leading lady of Spirit.
