Yesterday, Tollywood star hero Ram Charan unveiled his wax statue at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in London. Not just Ram Charan, but his beloved pet dog, Rhyme, has also been immortalized in wax. Charan earns a rare honor, joining Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as the only other celebrity to be immortalized with their pet at this iconic museum.

The unveiling was a personal and emotional moment for Charan as Chiranjeevi, Surekha, Upasana, and a few other friends accompanied him. The announcement was supposed to be delayed due to the prevailing situation. However, with peace gradually returning and normalcy restoring, the family felt it was the right moment to share it with the world.

Ram Charan’s wax figure is styled in the black velvet bandhgala he wore at the 2023 Oscars — the historic night when Naatu Naatu scripted history by becoming the first Indian song to win the Oscar for Best Original Song. The statue not only marks a monumental moment in global cinema but also honors the special bond between the star and his beloved furry companion.

Fans and visitors can view the statue in London until May 19, after which it will be shifted to Madame Tussauds Singapore for public display. On the professional front, Ram Charan will be next seen in the sports drama Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The film also stars Shiva Rajkumar, Janhvi Kapoor, and Divyendu Sharma in lead roles. AR Rahman composes the music.
