National award-winning Bollywood actress Vidya Balan had made her Tollywood debut with NTR biopic earlier this year. She had given a commendable performance as NTR’s wife Basavatarakam. Now, according to the latest reports, Vidya Balan is said to be in talks to play Mayawati in the latter’s biopic.
Mayawati is the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and the National President of the Bahujan Samaj Party. She is revered among the minorities and the downtrodden. Jolly LLB director Subhash Kapoor will be directing this biopic. An official announcement regarding the project is awaited
