It looks like top Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar is impressed with Tollywood heart-throb Vijay Deverakonda’s story selection. Earlier, Karan acquired the remake rights to Vijay’s Dear Comrade’s Hindi version. However, Karan has not yet begun work on the remake after Dear Comrade failed to reach the expectations.
Now, if the latest reports are anything to go by, Karan has also snatched the Hindi remake rights to Vijay’s latest film, World Famous Lover. WFL released as a Valentine’s Day treat and ended up as the biggest flop in the actor’s career. In this scenario, it’s quite interesting to see Karan purchasing the Hindi remake rights. Whether Vijay will be in part of both these remakes remains to be seen.
