It is well known that Kollywood stalwarts Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan are set to share screen space in a mega multi-starrer after three decades. While early buzz suggested that Lokesh Kanagaraj might helm the big-ticket entertainer, later reports indicated that the makers were considering other names too.
Among the rumored contenders was actor-director Pradeep Ranganathan, speculated to direct the much-anticipated gangster action saga. However, Pradeep Ranganathan has now put the rumors to rest during the promotions of his upcoming film, Dude.
Pradeep Ranganathan clarified in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India: “I am not doing that film. I am not directing because I am focused on acting right now. I can’t talk more about that project at this point in time. When asked if he had been approached for the magnum opus, the actor-director chose to remain tight-lipped.
