Bollywood star hero Ajay Devgn remade the Malayalam blockbuster franchise Drishyam in Hindi. The Hindi adaptations also became highly successful, with the second installment emerging as a mammoth blockbuster. The third installment is underway in Malayalam, with Jeethu Joseph and Mohanlal already kick-starting the works.

It is said that the Hindi version will also go on floors soon, though a confirmation is awaited on whether the makers of Ajay Devgn are going ahead with an original script or adapting the Malayalam version. Versatile actor Paresh Rawal debunked the rumors that claimed that he would be part of Drishyam 3 (Hindi). However, the actor revealed that the makers approached him.

In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama, Paresh Rawal said, “Yes, the makers did approach me. But I didn’t feel that the rule was suitable for me. Maza nahin aaya (on reading about my part). But the script is very good. I was really impressed. But even in a compelling script, you need a role that you feel excited about. Warna maza nahin aayega.”
