The makers of Kollywood Superstar Rajinikanth’s highly anticipated gangster drama, Coolie, under Lokesh Kanagaraj’s direction, have pulled off a major casting coup by roping in several popular stars from the southern film industry. Nagarjuna, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, and others will play key roles in the movie.
It’s well known that Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan will also be seen in a special role in Coolie. As per the latest updates, Aamir will commence shooting for his part next week in Chennai. The makers will be officially announcing Aamir’s inclusion in the movie before his schedule kicks off.
Coolie is said to feature a gold-smuggling mafia backdrop. Leading Tamil film production house Sun Pictures is bankrolling this crazy project, while Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music. Stay tuned for further updates.
