Here’s an exciting update on the highly-anticipated teaser of Super Star Rajinikanth and director Shankar’s sci-fi thriller, 2.0. After being postponed from December, the film’s teaser is all set to be unveiled on January 6 at the Kollywood star night in Malaysia. Hero Karthi has made the announcement this evening.
2.0 was supposed to be released on January 26. However, a delay in the VFX work has caused the postponement. Rajini announced during his fans meet that the film will be released on April 14. 2.0 will have a simultaneous release in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Arabic versions across the world.
2.0 also stars Bollywood hero Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in crucial roles. AR Rahman is the film’s music composer. Lyca Productions banner has bankrolled this high budget 3D entertainer with a whopping budget of nearly Rs. 450 crore.
