Tollywood actor Sree Vishnu is gearing up for the release of his next film, Single, on May 9. The romantic comedy stars Ivana and Ketika Sharma as the female leads. The trailer was filled with viral references to popular movies and real-life dialogues, which helped the film grab the audience’s attention. Ahead of the release, Sree Vishnu interacted with the media, and here is the transcript.

What kind of a film is Single?

Single’s intention is to entertain the audience from the first frame until the very end. It has a fresh story and screenplay, and the interval and climax episodes are unlike anything seen before. Single will strike a chord with youngsters. There are many relatable moments. Even the family audience can watch it without any apprehension.

Did the director present the story that was narrated to you exactly?

Whatever we thought was beautifully translated onto the screen. I liked this script when it was initially told to me. I believed it would connect to the audience. After seeing the final copy, I concluded that Single would be a massive entertainer.

The film is named Single, but there are two female leads. Could you explain this?

I am telling this again. Our film has a unique climax that will be liked by one and all. After watching it, you will understand why the movie is titled Single. There are four main characters: My role, two female leads, and the one played by Vennela Kishore. I am sure the audience will love these roles.

Your dialogue delivery is quite amusing. What kind of care are you taking?

My dialogue diction is mostly enjoyed by youngsters, and I am very happy about that. I keep the youth in mind while mouthing dialogues. My main intention is to entertain the audience.

Are you disappointed with Swag’s result?

Since Swag was released after Samajavaragamana and Om Bheem Bush, people expected it to be another comedy caper. Also, we didn’t prepare the audience for what to expect, so those who came thinking it was a fun-filled entertainer were disappointed. I accept this. However, Swag impressed a set of audience members who like different content. We shouldn’t stop making experiments.

Could you tell us about your future films?

I am doing a thriller flick called Mruthyunjaya. Also, I am a part of a full-length family entertainer. Apart from these two, I have one more project in the pipeline, which is set against the foreign backdrop.
