Young actress, Megha Akash will be making her debut with the Nithin starrer LIE. The film is ready for a release this 11th of August and on this occasion, we caught up with Megha for a brief interview. Here is the transcript.
Your background and how you got this offer?
My dad is from Andhra and mom is a Malayalee. I grew up in Chennai and did my visual communications there. As I was working on a film with Gautam Menon, I got this offer and immediately said yes to the project.
About your role?
I play the role of Chaitra who is a bubbly girl and has fun all the time. It is very close to my real life character as I am a very fun loving girl myself. My role has good importance in the film and I am very excited to kick start my career in Telugu.
Working with Nithin?
Nithin is a sweetheart. He helped me a lot during the shoot and even suggested me in a lot of issues. As it is my first film, he patiently waited for me to get my shots right.
About Hanu Raghavapudi?
He is a very down to earth director and it was only him who gave me a lot of support during the making. Even during some tough scenes, he gave me a lot of confidence to enact.
Why did you opt out of Ram’s project?
As my dates clashed with Gautam Menon’s film, I had to sadly leave the film. I will very soon work with him in the future.
Looks like you have signed the Nithin-Pawan project?
Yes! I have signed that film too. The moment I read the script, I fell in love with it and signed it immediately.
Who is your favorite actress?
I love Trisha in the south and admire her a lot for the roles she is doing. Coming to Bollywood, Alia Bhatt is my favorite.
