The rumours that kept social media busy over the last 24 hours about the actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru have turned out to be true. Samantha and Raj got married this morning (December 1, 2025) in a quiet, intimate ceremony at the Linga Bhairavi Temple inside the Isha Yoga Center in Coimbatore.
The ceremony was kept extremely private, with only a few people in attendance. Samantha later shared a handful of photos from the event, and they quickly spread across the internet. Upasana Konidela, Parvathy Thiruvothu, Paayal Rajput, Ruhani Sharma and several others wished the couple a happy married life.
The first spark that pushed the rumour mill into overdrive came from Raj’s ex-wife Shhyamali De. Her Instagram post saying “Desperate people do desperate things” caught everyone off guard and gave the gossip a serious push. Many believed it hinted at something brewing in the background, and today’s development has only added weight to that speculation.
For the unversed, Raj and Shhyamali ended their marriage in 2022. Samantha had previously married actor Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in 2017, and they officially separated in 2021. Both Sam and Raj have maintained a low profile about their personal lives since then, which made today’s confirmation even more surprising.
