Balakrishna’s Akhanda 2 is set to roar into cinemas on December 5, 2025. The action drama, directed by Boyapati Sreenu, features Aadi Pinishetty as the antagonist, while Samyukta plays the female lead. The makers held a grand pre-release event today in Hyderabad.
Speaking at the event, Balakrishna said, “I am here today because of my father. Today, cinema has become a necessity, and it is the industry’s responsibility to deliver quality content. When the industry was going through a tough phase due to COVID, Akhanda gave a sigh of relief by drawing audiences in huge numbers.”
Balakrishna further added, “We showed a few clippings to UP CM Yogi Adityanath garu, and he appreciated us. Akhanda 2 is all about safeguarding Sanatana Dharma. Aghoras have been protecting our Dharma for a long time. My films carry all kinds of elements, and Akhanda 2 will follow the same style.”
