Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati is all set to hit theaters on September 5, 2025, in multiple languages. Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, the film promises a gripping crime action story.
The biggie also marks the Tollywood debut of Tamil actor Vikram Prabhu, who comes from the legendary lineage of Sivaji Ganesan and Prabhu. Vikram has already won Telugu fans with his performance in Kumki (released as Gajaraju), and now he’s taking on a key role alongside Anushka.
Krish Jagarlamudi has been impressed by Vikram’s ability to show emotion with subtle expressions. He also pulled off some challenging stunts and even dubbed his lines in Telugu to make the performance feel authentic. The team has included a small tribute to Sivaji Ganesan in the song Sailore, honoring the legendary actor.
Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainments, Ghaati is shaping up to be a big release, with the makers confident that Vikram Prabhu will leave a strong mark in his Tollywood debut.
