Actress Ananthika Sanilkumar, known for her role in MAD, appeared in her second film 8 Vasantalu, which landed on Netflix three days after its lukewarm performance at the box office. The film was directed by Phanindra Narsetti.
Recently, the director revealed that an extended version titled 12 Vasantalu exists. Instead of a film, he planned to release it as a script that includes many scenes removed from the original version. Today, he provided the link on Instagram to those interested in exploring his complete vision.
The package included the scripts of 8 Vasantalu and 12 Vasantalu, along with a scene explaining the song “Vidhatha Thalapuna” written by Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry garu for the movie Sirivennela (1986). It remains to be seen how readers will receive it.
The film stars Hanu Reddy, Ravi Theja Duggirala, Kanna Pasunoori, Sumant Nitturkar, and others. It was produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and Hesham Abdul Wahab composed the music.
