Hindi star Sanjay Dutt plays a key role in Dhruva Sarja’s upcoming project KD: The Devil. The film’s teaser launch event was held in Mumbai, where the Bollywood actor made a striking statement that is now spreading like wildfire on social media.

Sanjay Dutt revealed that he loved working with Thalapathy Vijay but expressed disappointment with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. The Munna Bhai actor said, “I shared screen space with Thalapathy Vijay in Leo, and I loved working with him. However, I’m angry with Lokesh because he didn’t give me a big role. He wasted me.” Dutt played Vijay’s father in the film.

Though Sanjay Dutt was the main antagonist in Leo, many felt his role was underwritten and lacked a strong impact. While Sanjay Dutt made the remark with a smile, his disappointment was evident. This has now reignited online debates, with netizens once again criticizing the Thalapathy Vijay starrer.

Despite being a box office blockbuster, Leo is widely regarded as the weakest film in Lokesh’s career. The flashback sequences, in particular, received flak for poor writing. The subplot involving human sacrifice for a ritual didn’t resonate with the audience.

Can Lokesh overcome these flaws and deliver a unanimous hit with Coolie? Only time will tell.
