War 2 hit theaters with huge expectations, thanks to its star cast of Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR, but the film received a mixed response from audiences and fans alike.
On its first day, War 2 managed to stay ahead of Coolie in Nizam, which had a simultaneous release. However, the trend changed on day 2, with Coolie slightly overtaking War 2, and the same pattern continued on day 3.
In the Nizam region, War 2 is estimated to have collected around Rs. 2 crore (excluding GST) on day 3, bringing its total three-day distribution share close to Rs. 9 crore. With Sunday being a holiday, the first weekend share is expected to touch around Rs. 11 crore.
Trade experts are now watching closely to see how the film performs from Monday onward, as collections have been gradually declining each day.
Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 features Kiara Advani in the lead role. The film is produced by Yash Raj Films, with music composed by Pritam, who also handled the songs.
