Two big-ticket entertainers, War 2 and Coolie, locked horns at the box office this Thursday. While Coolie took the lead over War 2 globally, the NTR and Hrithik Roshan starrer posted higher numbers than the Rajinikanth starrer in the Telugu states, thanks to NTR’s immense star power.
Although War 2 outperformed Coolie at the Nizam box office on opening day, the tables turned on day 2, with Coolie taking a healthy lead over the Bollywood spy action thriller. Coolie earned a distributor share of Rs. 3.7 crore, while War 2 collected Rs. 3 crore share on the second day.
In the Nizam region, the 2-day collections stand at Rs. 7.85 crore share for Coolie and Rs. 7.25 crore share for War 2. Today and tomorrow are expected to be crucial for both films.
