Chhaava, Court Streaming on Netflix

Chhaava, Court Streaming on Netflix

Almost 3 weeks ago, Netflix delivered back-to-back superhits (Dragon and Officer on Duty) that entertained home audiences, and now, it’s all set to repeat the magic this Friday. The OTT platform is bringing two theatrical blockbusters to its digital library, offering viewers a powerful lineup for the weekend.

The first is a small film that made a big noise at the box office – Court: State vs. Nobody. With a modest cast including Priyadarshi, Harsh Roshan, Sridevi Apalla, and Sivaji, the film managed to pull in over Rs. 56 crore and more, proving that strong content always wins. What makes it even more noteworthy is the backing of actor Nani, whose support gave the film a wider reach.

Directed by debutant Ram Jagadeesh, the film explores the sensitive subject of the POCSO Act, sending a hard-hitting message to those who misuse power. It’s not just a courtroom drama but a socially relevant story that resonates. The film will be streaming not only in Telugu but also in several other Indian languages, expanding its audience and impact.

Joining it on Netflix is the historical blockbuster Chhaava, a film that created ripples across theatres with its grand storytelling and emotional depth. Vicky Kaushal delivers a powerful performance as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, capturing both the strength and sacrifice of the legendary Maratha warrior.

Rashmika Mandanna plays his queen with grace, while Akshaye Khanna impresses as the cold and calculating Aurangzeb. Director Laxman Utekar brings history to life with stunning visuals and stirring drama, making Chhava not just a film but an experience. It will be available to stream in Hindi tonight on Netflix. Although a Telugu version was released in theatres, there’s no official update yet on its OTT release, but it is expected to premiere tonight.

With both these impactful films arriving on Netflix, your weekend watchlist is set. Whether you’re in the mood for courtroom intensity or historical valour, these movies offer entertainment with meaning. Both are family-friendly, thought-provoking, and perfect for a binge-watch session that leaves you with more than just popcorn memories. Don’t miss out – settle in and enjoy two of the year’s biggest hits from the comfort of your couch.
