Sye Raa collections in ceded

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s latest film, Sye Raa Narasimhareddy, registered a phenomenal opening in North America by grossing nearly $1.15 million, including the Tuesday premeires and the Wednesday collections. The film is going slow but steady at the box-office despite War picking up well after a slow start.

On Thursday, until 9:45 PM EST, Sye Raa Narasimhareddy collected another $102,213 from 256 locations in the US. The film’s latest US total is close to $1.25 million. While these numbers are not bad, trade circles are expecting a huge rise in the collections over the weekend, since the asking price is nearly $3.5-4 million. The first-day figures are out and the latest we hear is that the film has made a total share of 37.93 crores in Telugu states.

This is a solid opening and with the holiday season on, the revenue will be even bigger in the coming days.
