The theatrical trailer of Pawan Kalyan’s OG, which was launched a few hours ago, is driving fans crazy. Powerstar is seen in a stunning action avatar, reminding us of his vintage charm. Directed by Sujeeth, this gangster action drama features Emraan Hashmi as the antagonist in his Telugu debut.

The latest and surprising update reveals that OG has been certified ‘A’ (Adults Only) by the Censor Board of Film Certification. After Panjaa, OG is the next Pawan Kalyan film to receive an A certificate. The word is that the team initially sought a U/A certificate, but the censor board insisted on several cuts. Since the cuts may impact the overall experience, the makers are said to have opted for an A certificate.

The approved runtime is 154 minutes (2 hours 34 minutes), which is perfect for a star-led film. Bankrolled by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari, the movie features Priyanka Mohan as the female lead. Sriya Reddy, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Subhaleka Sudhakar, and others play pivotal roles. Thaman has composed the music.

Pawan Kalyan fans were upset when the makers of They Call Him OG delayed the trailer release, but they later announced that it will be unveiled at an event this evening. Meanwhile, ticket sales are off to a flying start.

With only partial bookings open in the Telugu states, the film has already sold over 72K tickets within 24 hours. Recent hourly sales indicate around 7,400 tickets being booked per hour on BookMyShow. Once full-fledged bookings begin, the rampage is expected to grow even bigger.
