Kantara Chapter 1 going bonkers in Nizam; Day 2 > Day 1

Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1 is off to a terrific start in the Nizam region with a distributor share of Rs. 3.80 crores (without GST). The divine action spectacle is on rampage mode in this territory as the day two numbers are bigger than the day one.

Despite being a working day, Kantara Chapter 1 earned a solid Rs. 3.90 crore share (without GST) yesterday. The demand is massive, with many shows going housefull not just in Hyderabad but also in other areas of Telangana. The bookings are superb for today, and the film is set to post remarkable numbers in its lifetime.

Produced by Vijay Kiragandur of Hombale Films, Kantara: Chapter 1 stars the recent sensation Rukmini Vasanth as the female lead. Gulshan Devaiah and Jayaram played other crucial roles. Ajaneesh Loknath composed the tunes.

Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to hit the big screens on October 2, 2025. The action drama blended with divine and folklore elements is headlined and directed by Rishab Shetty. The bookings have opened on a strong note in Karnataka.

The Telugu states’ rights were sold for a massive price, and the makers are gearing up to promote the film aggressively. According to the latest update, Jr. NTR will grace the Telugu pre-release event of Kantara: Chapter 1, which is scheduled on September 28 at JRC Convention, Hyderabad. Rishab Shetty is a big admirer of Jr. NTR, and hence, this isn’t a big surprise.

Jr. NTR’s presence in the promotions will surely bring more hype to the project. Rukmini Vasanth played the female lead, while Gulshan Devaiah essayed the antagonist in the PAN-Indian biggie. Hombale Films produced this flick on a massive budget, with Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music.

The Rishab Shetty directorial has garnered a cumulative 107 million views across digital platforms, including YouTube, Facebook, X, and Instagram, in 24 hours. All versions of the trailer have received a remarkable 3.5 million likes, reflecting an outstanding response.

The Hindi trailer has received the strongest response so far, and it will be interesting to see how the team promotes the movie in Hindi to capitalize on this craze.
