Kantara: Chapter 1 is set to hit the big screens on October 2, 2025. The action drama blended with divine and folklore elements is headlined and directed by Rishab Shetty. The bookings have opened on a strong note in Karnataka.
The Telugu states’ rights were sold for a massive price, and the makers are gearing up to promote the film aggressively. According to the latest update, Jr. NTR will grace the Telugu pre-release event of Kantara: Chapter 1, which is scheduled on September 28 at JRC Convention, Hyderabad. Rishab Shetty is a big admirer of Jr. NTR, and hence, this isn’t a big surprise.
Jr. NTR’s presence in the promotions will surely bring more hype to the project. Rukmini Vasanth played the female lead, while Gulshan Devaiah essayed the antagonist in the PAN-Indian biggie. Hombale Films produced this flick on a massive budget, with Ajaneesh Loknath composing the music.
