The recent Bollywood comedy thriller Housefull 5 was released in theaters on June 6, 2025. It featured two different endings, Housefull 5A and Housefull 5B, but received an unimpressive response at the box office despite its star-studded cast.
Starring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, and Sanjay Dutt, the film is now available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video. Both versions are offered in Hindi, but the surprising part is that viewers need to pay nearly Rs. 700 to watch both parts on the platform.
The ensemble cast also includes Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever.
Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Warda Nadiadwala, and Firuzi Khan, and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, this comedy-thriller may have aimed to entertain, but the big question remains: will home audiences be willing to spend Rs. 700 on this underwhelming Hindi release?
