Lokesh Kanagaraj’s Coolie spearheaded by Superstar Rajinikanth, is fast approaching its release date. The director and the entire team are actively promoting this big-ticket entertainer. In an interview, the director made a surprise revelation that is now going viral on social media.
Sivakarthikeyan is currently working on a film titled Parasakthi, which is being directed by Sudha Kongara of Soorarai Pottru fame. Lokesh Kanagaraj was first offered the antagonist role in this biggie, which he turned down to focus entirely on Coolie.
In an interview, Lokesh Kanagaraj said, “I was the one who was supposed to play the villain in Parasakthi. I met Sudha Kongara mam too. I loved the story immensely. Siva Karthikeyan also advised me to be a part of the film. However, I had to turn it down since it might affect the timeline and release schedule of Coolie.” Had Lokesh played the baddie, we would have been able to see the other side of him, but the universe had other plans.
