After a fantastic opening day, Rajinikanth’s Coolie maintained a strong hold on day two across all major territories. The hold on the first Monday will be crucial in estimating the lifetime numbers. Without the clash with War 2, the Kollywood film would likely have performed even better in the Hindi heartland.

It is estimated that Coolie would rake in a worldwide gross of Rs. 150–175 crore based on the pre-sale collections and the advance hype it has.
