Aravindha Sametha’s Friday US collections will be huge

There has been a wee bit of confusion about Aravindha Sametha’s actual gross in the US on Friday. Until midnight, the film collected a gross of $250,791 from 159 centres. However, the film is being screened at 201 screens and 42 screens are yet to report the actuals. The Friday collections are expected to be around $300K, which is huge on a working day.

From the Wednesday premieres, Aravindha Sametha had collected $797,366. The film went on to gross a good $242,424 on Thursday, taking the day one total to $1,039,790. With Friday actuals, the film is expected to end up with a gross of $1.4M. The film will now eye the rare $2M milestone by the end of this week.

Aravindha Sametha’s latest Australia collections

Aravindha Sametha’s box-office storm is spreading beyond the twin Telugu states and Karnataka and is also displaying its might in Australia and other prominent overseas destinations. On Thursday, the film collected a whopping gross of A$128,749 (Rs 67.63 lakhs) from 36 locations across Australia.

Continuing the stupendous run on Friday, Aravindha Sametha collected A$69,666 (Rs 36.52 lakhs) from 37 locations in Australia, taking the 2-day total to A$198,415 (Rs 1.04 crores).
