The film recently entered its third schedule in Kerala. But within hours, a video shot by an onlooker began to go viral online, it showed Chiru and Nayanthara filming a romantic song in traditional costumes. The footage, clearly taken without permission, started spreading fast across social media platforms.
This unexpected leak prompted a quick and strong reaction from the film’s production houses, Shine Screens and Gold Box Entertainments. In a note to the public, they expressed deep disappointment over the breach, calling it a serious violation of trust and intellectual property. They requested people not to record or circulate any content from the shoot without proper approval. The team also made it clear that any further leaks could lead to legal action under anti-piracy and copyright laws.
With the shoot progressing rapidly, Mega 157 is firmly eyeing a grand release for Sankranthi 2026. But clearly, the recent incident is a reminder that tighter on-set security might now be a must.
