Differences emerged between director Anil Sharma and actress Ameesha Patel during the release of Gadar 2. The actress publicly stated that she felt cheated as Gadar 2’s climax was altered without her knowledge and that she would do Gadar 3 only if the script excited her as much as Gadar: Ek Prem Katha.
Ameesha has now patched up with Anil Sharma, according to the latest update. In a recent interview with News18, Anil Sharma revealed that things are absolutely fine between them. “Things change with time. Sakeena (Ameesha Patel’s character name) and Tara (Sunny Deol’s character name) are an integral part of Gadar. But we will discuss more about her character before the release of Gadar 3.”
It was further revealed that Gadar 3’s script work has already been completed. The makers are planning to take the film to the floors in another two years. The threequel will focus on the stories of Tara Singh and his son Jeete Singh (played by Utkarsh Sharma). The second installment annihilated the box office by collecting over Rs. 500 crores nett in India despite clashing with Oh My God 2.
