Agnyaathavaasi nizam ceded vizag collections

Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s landmark silver jubilee film, Agnyaathavaasi, opened in cinemas across the world amid huge expectations. Unexpectedly, the film received mixed reviews from critics and moviegoers. But this underwhelming response didn’t dampen the film’s opening collections.

This is a non-Baahubali 2 record, surpassing the previous highest Khaidi No.150 (Rs.23.30 Crs) by a margin of more than Rs.3.50 crore. A lot is riding on Agnyaathavaasi and the film needs to perform well over the long festive weekend.

Even though Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi opened to some mixed reviews all over, the collections were super strong. The latest we hear is that the film has made a total of 1.7 million to date in the US.

Some heavy duty premieres were aired all over the US and we need to see how the film performs in the coming days. Back home, as the Sankranthi season has just begun, the collections will be good in the coming days.

Haarika and Haasine Creations produce this film which has Anu Emanuel and Keerthi Suresh as the female leads. Anirudh scores the music.

Despite the mixed reviews and disappointing word of mouth, Power Star Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyaathavaasi utilized the hype surrounding it and packed a solid punch at the box-offices worldwide. The film has set non-Baahubali 2 opening records in most areas.

In Nizam, Agnyaathavaasi collected around Rs.5.40 Crs worth share on its opening day. Trade circles are expecting the film to cash in on the Sankranthi holiday advantage from today onwards. However, Agnyaathavaasi may face a tough competition from Jai Simha and Gang in B, C centres.
