Bollywood actress Kajol was recently seen in the mythological horror thriller Maa. It is a spinoff of the 2024 superhit film Shaitaan, headlined by Ajay Devgn. Directed by Vishal Furia, Maa received mixed reviews from critics and performed modestly at the box office, earning about Rs. 37 crores nett in its lifetime in India.

The film completed its theatrical run and is now all set for its digital debut. As we informed earlier, Maa will be available for streaming from tomorrow (August 22) on Netflix. The OTT platform officially confirmed the digital release date a while ago. However, it remains to be seen whether Maa will have dubbed versions.

The theatrical window is eight weeks. Ronit Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Kherin Sharma, Jitin Gulati, and Jitendra Kumar played supporting roles. Ajay Devgn, Jyoti Deshpande, and Kumar Mangat Pathak jointly produced this horror film under the banners of Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios.
