Japanese Anime films have been gaining huge traction in India over the past few years. At Prasads Multiplex, Hyderabad, the movie has sold over 18,000 tickets, indicating sky-high demand. The Anime has been certified U/A by the CBFC, with an approved run time of 2 hours and 35 minutes.

According to trade reports, the film was initially planned for a limited release, but due to growing demand, distributors are adding shows every hour. The movie has already sold over 1,50,000 tickets in national chains for opening day, higher than many Indian biggies this year. The film could earn over Rs. 15 crore on its opening day in India as per the advances.
