War 2 is the latest Bollywood film to combine the star power of Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR in an action-packed spy thriller directed by Ayan Mukerji.
The movie was released last Thursday, which means it completed four days at the box office, the first extended weekend for the film. Mixed reviews and divided word of mouth led to lower occupancy and collections.
By the end of the fourth day, the movie had made an estimated total of Rs. 123 crore nett in Hindi alone at the domestic box office, including about Rs. 25 crore (Hindi) on the fourth day itself.
Considering the star power and the budget it is mounted on, the collections are underwhelming, making War 2 a weak box office run for the Yash Raj Films banner.
