The shocking news is that the Ernakulam Police have registered a case against Vedhalam fame Lakshmi Menon and three others for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting an IT professional in Kochi. A techie from Aluva filed a complaint, based on which the case was registered. Police have already arrested the three accused, Mithun, Aneesh, and Sonamol, who are the actress’s friends.
According to the complainant, Lakshmi Menon and her friends had an argument at a restaurant in Kochi around 11 PM on Sunday. Reportedly, Lakshmi Menon, along with the three others, followed the complainant and forced him into their car. They then allegedly assaulted the techie and abused him verbally before dropping him off at Vedimara Junction in Paravur.
Currently, Lakshmi Menon’s phone is switched off, and she is on the run. Police officials are actively searching for her, and she is expected to be arrested soon. Lakshmi Menon and her friends have been charged under Sections 140(2), 126, 296, 127(2), 115(2), 351(2), and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
