National Award-winning actress Priyamani, who recently starred in The Good Wife (Tamil web series), has revealed a dream role she’s itching to take on, a Tamil remake of the global sensation Money Heist.
Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter India, she said, “I’d love to do a Tamil version. People joked that my role in Jawan already felt like a remake of Money Heist.”
She went on to say she’d love to play Tokyo or Raquel, but joked that based on her Jawan fate, she might be better suited for Nairobi. “Tokyo is the one I’d really want to do,” she added, hinting at her attraction to strong, rebellious characters.
Currently, Priyamani is balancing multiple exciting projects, including The Family Man 3 and Jana Nayagan. With her range and bold choices, it wouldn’t be surprising if a Tamil Money Heist becomes more than just wishful thinking.
