Nithiin’s latest release, Robinhood, was a big disappointment both in terms of content and box office performance. His next release is Thammudu, an emotional action drama. Directed by Venu Sriram, the film was supposed to hit the big screens on July 4. However, the makers of Thammudu pushed back the release at the request of the Kingdom team.
According to the latest buzz in Tollywood circles, Thammudu is expected to hit the screens on July 24. An official announcement is expected to come out soon. Initially, the Nithiin starrer was scheduled for May 2025 release, but the plans were changed due to delay in works. Sapthami Gowda plays the female lead.
Laya, Lubber Pandhu fame Swasika, Varsha Bollamma, and Saurabh Sachdeva are playing supporting roles. Recently, the makers unveiled a motion poster introducing the main characters, and it brought positive vibes around the film. Dil Raju and Shirish are producing this flick under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Ajaneesh Loknath is composing the tunes.
